During the pandemic, Sticks wanted to keep their doors open. They decided that the best way to do that was by adding more handcrafted artisans to their website as well as doing some of the best discounts of the year.

We started just by grinding it out, adding new products and artists to their website and creating an email and social media campaign to drive traffic to the new production lines.

Then over the holidays, when COVID-19 was taking its toll on everyone, Sticks sent out a simple “Thank You” email to its friends, customers, and supporters just to tell them how much it meant that they were supporting the arts in these tough times. The response was amazing, people writing back, telling them “Thank YOU” with so many kind words of support.

We wanted to keep the momentum going. So we helped them launch the winter “Thank You” sale, with their biggest discount of the year.

Through multiple email blasts and social media coverage, we launched the sale to their biggest fans. They saw a 32% open rate and 42% click-through rate on their emails – making this campaign the most successful Sticks has ever had.

We adore this brand. We love to work with other artists and support one of Des Moines’ nationally known local brands. We can’t wait to see what’s next!
