Des Moines & Eastern Iowa Wedding Show
In 2018, we got a voicemail from someone named Ryan Kolder (paraphrasing here, but not far off…) “Heeeeelllllloooo! We LOVE. Love, love, love your magazine, Heartland Wedding Ideas. It would be the perfect addition to the wedding show we’re STARTING. Call me!”
And with that, we partnered with the Des Moines Wedding Show. Gina Cramer and Ryan Kolder who run the show have not only given us the opportunity to connect much more closely to local wedding professionals, but we quickly became the designers for all things wedding show.
We developed their original logo and new wedding show logo, refreshed their marketing materials with a new look for that season, and worked on all the elements that keep guests and vendors informed — registration forms, tickets, website updates, and social media.
In 2021, we also had the opportunity to shoot a new library of photography. We worked with Gina and Ryan to create the idea, mood boards, curate the wardrobe and props, and worked with an amazing group of vendors including Kelsi Ziemann Artistry, hairbyBrianne, and Paige Peterson Photography. We wanted to make sure we had photography that allowed both shows to stand alone, while also feeling like they were part of the same Wedding Show Productions family. All of us were there that day, fluffing dresses, holding backdrops, and blowing hair with fans. It was a blast and we have the photos to prove it.
We love that Gina and Ryan come to us for ideas or just our opinions on how to make the show bigger and better every year. We are lucky enough to work with two great clients who are now life-long friends.
